Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst will analyze General Ledger activity, perform account analysis, prepare financial statements, and maintain capital expenditures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare General Ledger journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned.
• Review journal entries and reconciliations prepared by others.
• Coordinate posting of journal entries to the General Ledger.
• Prepare, analyze, audit, and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Assist District Managers by helping them analyze financial statements and support the forecasting and budgeting process.
• Assist in creating key performance indicators for the business, analyze them, and communicate results to management.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
• Four-year degree in Accounting.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and current accounting practices.
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills.
Physical/Mental Demands:
• Able to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.
• Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions:
• Work in an indoor office environment 95% of the time.
• Noise level is usually moderate.
