If you love staying active, working in the fresh air, and want a predictable, high-earning schedule without weekend work, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

  • Great Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour

  • Guaranteed Overtime: Consistent 50-hour work weeks (Monday – Friday).

  • Big Earning Potential: Earn $27.00/hour ($1.5x) for all overtime hours worked after 40 hours each week.

Job Summary

The Helper will safely assist drivers and team members in collecting solid waste and recyclable materials from residential neighborhoods. This is a highly active, fast-paced outdoor role where you will be an essential part of keeping our community clean.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active Outdoor Work: Collect solid waste and recyclable materials from customer premises and curbsides, loading them safely into the collection vehicle.

  • Teamwork: Assist the driver in the safe operation of the vehicle, including directing the driver during backing up and maneuvering in tight spaces.

  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate the truck's compacting equipment to pack materials into the vehicle.

  • Safety First: Perform pre-route checks, report any prohibited waste items, and follow all safety precautions. Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company (gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots).

  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude when interacting with customers and the general public along the route.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • No Experience Needed: One (1) to three (3) months of related experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person!

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is desired, but not required.

  • License: Valid driver’s license is preferred, but not required.

  • Must be able to pass standard company safety-sensitive function criteria.

  • Ability to read, write, and follow basic instructions under limited supervision.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions

  • Love the Outdoors? You will be working outside 100% of the time, staying continuously active along the route throughout the day.

  • Physical Strength: Ability to regularly lift/move up to 65 pounds and push/move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

  • Weather Conditions: Must be comfortable working in all types of natural weather elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.) depending on the season.
