What you'll do:

  • Daily assistance to the business in respect to process and systems.
  • Weekly progress calls with District Managers and Senior Administrators.
  • Monthly spot checks on invoicing, credit invoices, vendor PO and invoice status.
  • Monthly Lunch & Learn Sessions for identified problem areas
  • Quarterly review of best practices with peers from Regions across Canada and USA
  • Instrumental in the roll out/integration of GFL’s Systems to new business acquisitions
  • Assist in the preparation of Go Live data
  • Identify any system data or process discrepancies and adequately facilitate resolutions with system users
  • Work closely with system development group and operations to convey business needs
  • Develop a training program for new and current users at an operational level

What's you'll need:

    • Good working knowledge of P&L reporting process
    • Strong business administration experience
    • Knowledge of waste management operations
    • Experience and knowledge in Transportation of Dangerous Goods will be an asset
    • Regulatory and technical knowledge with respect to the hazardous waste industry is highly desirable
    • Detail orientated, working with numbers and accuracy of information
    • Strong computer literacy; comfortable working with multiple systems including Microsoft office applications
    • Confidence in ability to work in a constant changing work environment
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
    • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Proven interpersonal organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Bachelors degree preferred
