Recovery Technician
Responsibilities
- Safely operate all required transport equipment
- Professionally represent GFL on all client sites and look for ways to expand services
- Ensure all assigned equipment is properly loaded and maintained
- Communicate effectively with a team of qualified professionals
- Participate in safety meetings, last minute risk assessments and job hazard assessments
- Identify and classify all types of hazardous waste
Requirements
- Class 1 or 3 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract. Willingness to obtain a Class 1 license if required
- TDG knowledge and experience is an asset
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to travel with frequent overnight trips
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Customer service experience
- Self-motivated attitude
- Experience working in a safety sensitive environment
