IT Talent Acquisition Partner

What You’ll Do 

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for corporate IT and tech roles across North America 
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and craft compelling job postings 
  • Build and execute sourcing strategies to attract top-tier active and passive candidates 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on market insights, compensation trends, and hiring best practices 
  • Deliver a great candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for GFL 
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Workday and compliance with internal processes 
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in the tech talent space 

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years focused on IT/technology roles 
  • Proven success in either in-house or agency recruiting environments 
  • Familiarity with Workday Recruiting or similar ATS systems (an asset) 
  • Proven sourcing expertise across platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and other niche tech communities. 
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization 
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple searches at once 
  • A proactive, curious mindset — always looking to improve the process and stay ahead of trends
