Fencing Labourer

GFL Environmental is looking for a Fencing Labourer to join our team in Calgary, AB!

As a Labourer you will safely load delivery trucks for assigned routes, to service customers in a safe and efficient manner. The Fencing Labourer may be required to drive a GFL vehicle with the ability to safely pull a 26' trailer loaded with materials.

Requirements:

• Must be able to meet relevant criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely load the truck with fencing materials

• Knowledge of Calgary and surrounding areas is an asset.

• Must possess a valid Class 5 License with a clean abstract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use proper lifting techniques to load and unload materials.

• Load and unload equipment on trucks and trailers.

• Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately.

• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.

• Follow all safety standards and equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state/provincial, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.

• May be required to work overtime.

• Attend safety and branch meetings.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.
