Customer Service Representative

Requirements:

  • High School or post-secondary education
  • Two (2) years previous administrative, customer service experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Required to work extended hours including occasional weekends.
  • Responsible individual with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record for success.
  • Reliable team player that is supportive of company drivers and co-workers.
  • Work experience in the waste, recycling or environmental services industries an asset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule service and satisfy customer needs for service changes. Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies.
  • Distribute, collect, and review route sheets for proper days end data entry.
  • Interacts with customers, drivers, sales, & Operations staff.
  • Fields incoming calls / emails from customers.
  • Communicates with maintenance shop personnel.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone and two-way devices.
  • Assist with month end billing process
  • Other duties as assigned.
