Position: Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanic

We are looking for a full-time, energetic, and motivated Apprentice Heavy-Duty Mechanic to support our growing business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform general mechanical work (electrical, hydraulic, air brakes, component replacements, roadside service, etc.);

• Complete daily reports on work completed and work to be done;

• Notify your supervisor of the date, time, and duration of equipment and heavy truck downtime;

• Perform any other related duties as required by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle mechanics with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience;

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in heavy-duty vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or agricultural mechanics (an asset);

• PEP (Preventive Maintenance Program) certification would be an asset.
