310T Mechanic (Night Shift)

Job Summary:

In this key role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment, ensuring all assets operate reliably and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:
- Licensing: Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using diagnostic software is considered a strong asset, along with strong computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Safety Commitment: Ability to successfully satisfy all company standards for safety-sensitive positions.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose and repair operational issues on heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including diesel, CNG, gasoline, and electric-powered units.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform thorough maintenance and repairs to ensure fleet reliability.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete work orders, repair reports, and parts requests; perform required administrative tasks daily using fleet maintenance software.
- Planning & Coordination: Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner and procure required parts; review mechanical write-ups and coordinate schedules with operations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in a safe manner in full compliance with company and regulatory safety requirements.
- Tool & Shop Maintenance: Maintain and utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment; keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Operational Support: Follow all company policies and procedures, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
