2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic

Starting Pay: $25-$29/hr (Top Pay Will Increase Based on EXP/Qualifications)
Starting Shift: 2pm-12am M-F. Overtime after 40hrs worked.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Keep the Fleet Rolling: Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks, CNG engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Master Diagnostics: Use diagnostic software, technical manuals, and hands-on expertise to solve operational issues quickly and accurately.
- Plan & Procure: Track work orders, request parts, and plan maintenance schedules using our fleet management system (M5).
- Work Safe, Work Smart: Maintain a clean, organized shop environment and follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate & Mentor: Assist with reviewing driver write-ups, coordinate repair priorities, and help orient or train newer shop technicians.
- Stay Ahead of the Tech: Stay updated on modern fleet technology through continuous learning and technical training seminars.
What We’re Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ year as a diesel mechanic working with heavy-duty diesel/hydraulic systems.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or trade school certification preferred.
- Tools of the Trade: You possess and maintain your own set of tools required for heavy equipment maintenance.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with basic computer systems and diagnostic software (or eager to learn).
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs, climb, bend, crouch, and navigate a fast-paced shop environment.
- Safety First: Ability to perform safety-sensitive functions and comply with local, state/provincial, and federal safety standards.
